We just need a baby to put in here! Dr made it sound like she will be coming this week! Keep your fingers crossed that she will!!!

Gordo vs. the Bathtub

Last Sunday, I was really tired, so I tried to take a nap. Richard decided he wanted to take a bubble bath to relax. So he's in there for like 10 minutes when I hear a loud splash, laughing and richard scolding the cat. Apparently curiosity finally got to Gordo. He always is interested in the shower/bath, but still too cautious to get in. He sits on the rug outside the shower almost everyday while I'm in there. (I think he thinks I'm going to drown or something, he seems very concerned). This time Richard thinks he may have thought he would float like the bubbles or something. Well, he didn't. He looked pretty hilarious all wet and covered with bubbles. Richard got lucky and only got some minor scratches on his leg that didn't hurt really at all. That could've been a lot worse had that cat landed elsewhere. The weird thing is the cat didn't seem terribly phased by the event afterward.

Yesterday Gordo also figured out a way to get on top of the door in the bathroom. I thought he was up on the water heater b/c I noticed he'd figured that out. I went in to check b/c I heard him making some noise and he was on top of the door trying to figure out how to get back down. He did it again today. I'm not sure why. He is a very entertaining cat to say the least. Always doing something weird.
