15 months

Libby's 15 month stats:  31.75 inches or 87% for height and almost 19# or 3% for weight.....She keeps getting taller and taller (and cuter and cuter). Although today she looked short at her playdate next to her new friend who is the same age, but that girl has 2 tall parents and Libby does not. Anyways, Libby had pigtails today and it was the cutest thing I've ever seen in my life. I can't believe I hadn't tried to do her hair like that before, I didn't think she had enough hair though. Other new Libby things: she loves footballs and carries her toy one around all the time; new words: pasta, Anna (annaliese), ne-ne (penny), hip-hip (hip-hip-hooray)...I can't think of the others; she loves putting money in her piggy bank; she seems to be left-handed (almost always puts the money in the bank with her left hand); she dances ALL the time and acts really goofy when people come over; does hand motions to the following songs: head, shoulders, knees, & toes (except shoulders), wheels on the bus, itsy bitsy spider, skimerydinky dinky dink, happy and you know it, and tries to sing the ABC's (which sounds like "ABD....jabberjabberjabber...."); she knows pretty much all the animal sounds I can think of;

I feel lazy and don't want to upload pictures. maybe tomorrow cuz there are some cute ones that you all should see. : )

Tautphaus Park Zoo

A few weeks ago we decided to take advantage of the lovely weather on Richard's day off and go to the zoo in Idaho Falls. We all had a great time.
peeking at the baby camel

Libby "bock"ing at the chickens

Riding a chicken

She didn't want to move on to the next animal or "aminals" as Libby would say

A very friendly monkey

This lion was eyeing Libby, like he wanted her for lunch. Kind of creeped me out

school

School is going well. i am taking a math class, 2 computer science classes(one programming the other is user interface design), book of mormon, and bluegrass ensemble. I really like my programming class. it is challenging and requires that i write a new simple program 2 times a week. most of the time the particular subject required to do the program isn't discussed until after the assignment is due, so it requires that I really study and figure the concepts on my own. I play banjo in the bluegrass band. i don't really like any of my other classes too much though. I work for Sprint selling cellphones. I am pretty good at it. I was the most profitable salesman in the company my first full month working there. By the whole company i just mean the retail company i work for that owns 14 stores, not the actual whole company of Sprint. we bought stuff to make italian cream sodas last week. that was good. libby is just getting cuter. libby's favorite word now is "no." she says it in a funny voice and make a funny face at the same time and sticks her hand out in a talk-to-the-hand kind of way. and she says it all the time. especially when she is doing something we have told her not to do a lot, she will just automatically start saying no while doing it. she likes playing with/eating sidewalk chalk and bubbles.
