Happy Birthday to you

We've been braving the weather a few times a week since it's not that cold (30's)  so Libby can play outside with other kids and  yesterday when she was running away from me she tripped and face planted. The "owie" is really tiny on her nose, but she loves bandaids so here she is.

Liberty's amazing birthday present. Who made that awesome table fort? yes, it was me! I feel like a cool mom now. Window, door and mail box on front, pockets and a fire place inside. Since Libby has 2 closets in her room and we have a handy bar that we sit at to eat, we didn't need our table anymore so I made it into this for Libby and someday Elliot

I couldn't wait till her birthday. Julie babysat yesterday so I could finish it up. It better last forever cuz it was a lot more work than i'd aniticipated and I didn't even put in a second window like planned. Libby really likes it, which makes me very happy.

Liberty requested Elliot come in and visit. You can see the fireplace in the background.

Libby didn't really want to sit for pics, but I got a few. By nap time, both kids had a change of clothes due to spills or spit-up so glad I took them when I did.

I forgot to add these to the last post. Libby gets very intense and focused now when she does art projects. It was really funny to watch her making valentine's cards, which I forgot to mail, so sorry everyone, they will be late, but hopefully we'll make up for it by putting in a cute picture or two :)

Sick Day

Elliot had these jammies when he was preemie size and Richard has been bugging me since he outgrew them to buy them in every size, but they were out at Walmart until last week so I got him some new ones. Apparently argyle on a baby is the best thing ever according to Richard. :)

Today we are having a family sick day (yesterday too I guess). We all have bad colds and Richard has developed a horrible case of hives. We stayed in our bed most of the morning. Libby and Elliot joined us too and Richard and I finished re-reading Hunger Games while Elliot mostly smiled at us and Libby jumped around and played on her toy laptop and watched a little Elmo. Anyways, I figure since we're just hanging around I should post some pictures since we've taken some really cute ones lately.
